On the eve before our redesign launch (July 11), a prominent Cable News show reported about Invasion of Privacy -- that wireless telephone companies, via GPS tracking, are constantly aware of where we are moving, going and visiting, minute by minute. In addition, if police officials want that information (for any reason!) and request it from the wireless telephone company (i.e. Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, At&T, etc), these companies simply hand over the information -- no need for a warrant or actual police surveillance, just a request to the wireless company who are too afraid not to give up the GPS information that -- perhaps -- is wrong for them to have in the first place!
