A New Plane Disaster in the Alps
Dateline Friday March 27, 2015: Andreas Lubitz, 27-year-old co-pilot of Germanwings flight 9525 apparently and deliberately crashes the plane, killing himself and 149 other people on Tuesday March 24, 2015 in the French Alps. He is born on December 18, 1987 -- exactly 84 years (a Uranus cycle around the zodiac) since the Wright Brothers first-powered airflight in 1903, when a New Moon conjunct Uranus was energizing humanity.
For the moment, only his sunrise-type chart is provided at the end of this feature as well as the approximate moment when the plane crashed.
It has been revealed only today that a doctor had declared him unfit to fly due to an undisclosed medical condition. The media is speculating this may have been a combination of depression and anxiety disorder, perhaps requiring medication. You will note that Andreas Lubitz was born with a quartet of celestial bodies close to the Galactic Center in late-Sagittarius. This quartet is composed of Mercury conjunct Saturn, and the Sun conjunct Uranus. Even though all four celestial bodies are within approximately 3 degrees of the zodiac -- compressing the overall energy and making the grouping unstable at best -- it is really composed of a possibly depression-oriented Mercury-Saturn union and a much more outside-the-box, revolutionary and shock-inducing Sun-Uranus union. The fact that twilight-zone, otherworldly Chiron in Gemini was exactly opposite his Sun-Uranus conjunction, and that all five of his Sagittarius-Gemini placements are square to the profound, fate-destiny Lunar Nodal Axis in Pisces-Virgo certainly adds to the mysterious and unsettling news that keeps emerging from this horrific catastrophe affecting so many currently distraught, numb families of the innocent victims.
Note that he was born with Mars and Pluto in Scorpio, and his Progressed Moon was in this sign -- most probably having already united with his natal Mars and Pluto in the last year. [Every person has a Progressed Moon, to go along with a Natal Moon, and the Progressed Moon cycle lasts 2 to 2.5 years. Prominent astrologers of the last few hundred years have always considered a Progressed Moon cycle in Scorpio to be one of the toughest, if not the toughest to experience. In addition, at age 27 years and 3 to 4 months, every person has the first Progressed Lunar Return. Therefore, this co-pilot was also in the midst of ending one Progressed Moon cycle around the zodiac and about to start a new one -- probably in Scorpio, although this depends on his actual birth time. Very profound personality, subliminal and emotional transformations occur at Progressed Lunar Returns.]
