Midwest Flooding Connects to Astrology (6-13-2008)
-
The horrific floods (and tornados) in the Midwest during the past week or so are related strongly to (a) transiting Uranus at 22+ Pisces making its first opposition to America's Neptune at 22+ Virgo in 84 years and (b) transiting Pluto at the last New Moon directly below in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Missouri (the key states being struck by the devastating floods).

Uranus -- unfortunately -- is slowing down and will station and go into reverse on June 26 at 22+ Pisces. It will then retrace its steps and re-trigger America's Neptune very precisely for several weeks in July. Uranus will make the same alignment in March 2009 and, to some extent, in November-December 2009.
While Uranus opposing our nation's Neptune has many other ramifications (spiritually; artistically; emotionally; politically, etc), the fact that Uranus (shocks and upheavals) is currently in Pisces (third and final water sign) and opposing the USA Neptune (main planet relating to rivers, seas and oceans; plus -- mass confusion and chaos) is definitely a major reason why our midwest is being afflicted like this.
In addition to the loss of lives and property, corn crops and soybean crops are being destroyed, and this will have vast repercussions on food prices, commodity-associated inflation, and the nation's overall economy. This fits into the developing Saturn-Uranus opposition -- a polarity that will occur five times over the next two years (starting on Election Day, November 4, 2008). Saturn (limits; fears; blocks) is presently in Virgo (key sign of grains, cereals and the harvest).
The Pluto placement -- under the Earth at the last New Moon -- in the American midwest is another big factor in creating the current wave of extreme weather disaster.
This story will be updated as we watch for new stories on rainfall, flooding and unusual weather conditions in this part of the country.
