Now, it turns out, that the oil rig BP leased from Transocean -- and which exploded the evening of April 20, with a probable loss of life for 11 workers -- is spilling many times as much oil as was previously estimated. Some 200,000+ gallons of oil per day (if not much more) are destroying sea life, bird life and -- eventually -- precious coastal environments in Louisiana, and probably along Mississippi, Alabama and Florida as well. This disaster occurred on the day that Chiron entered the last water sign of the zodiac -- Pisces -- for the first time in 50 years. And both transiting Chiron and Neptune -- focusing their combined energy at 29+ Aquarius -- are lowering the boom (via a sharp square pattern of 90-degrees) on to President Obama's extreme void lunar placement at 29+ Scorpio from his Oath of Office chart of January 20, 2009. Suffice it to say, the June 12 New Moon is within 2 minutes of arc (1/30 of 1 degree) of America's natal Mars placement from July 4, 1776. The Full Moon/Partial Lunar Eclipse of June 26 reveals the Moon with Pluto -- triggering America's natal Venus & Jupiter in early Cancer, as well as their midpoint. The day before is the annual Sun-Pluto opposition in the sky. At the same time of the Full Moon, Mercury squares Jupiter in the sky, with Mercury opposite Pluto in the sky the next day. The July 11 New Moon & Total Solar Eclipse is united with the undiscovered Pluto placement from the Great Stock Market Crash of late October 1929. Sen. Robert C. Byrd -- who had been the longest-serving member of Congress in our history -- died early this morning (June 28, 2010). Senator Byrd was a Ku Klux Klan member as a young man and a forceful presence against Civil Rights early in his political career. However, over a long time-period, he changed many of his views -- shifting much more toward the Democratic center. I am including his natal chart (as a clickable weblink below) because it reveals a lot about how astrology works. His exact natal Mercury-Jupiter polarity is precisely on America's Rising-Setting angle from July 4, 1776 (using 7+ Sagittarius Rising). He dies less than 48 hours after a precise Mercury-Jupiter square in the sky. In addition, the Full Moon/Partial Lunar Eclipse over this weekend -- in which the Moon was with Pluto and Mercury was with the Sun -- ignited his fateful Lunar Nodal Axis, an area of the zodiac energizing America's highly-important Venus-Jupiter conjunction. NYSE & DJIA Fall Into Extreme Volatility -- Mostly Due to Sovereign Debt Crisis Affecting Greece: Today -- Thursday May 6, 2010 -- has been a time of extreme volatility on the NYSE (born May 17, 1792) and for the DJIA. This is due to the following: both Mars-Pluto and Jupiter-Saturn in contra-parallel; transiting Mars making a crossing of the NYSE Uranus (shock waves); and the transiting Moon in Aquarius approaching & uniting with the NYSE Pluto. The entire mix is causing tremendous upheavals in reporting the financial news -- as extreme swings, down and up, are going on. Gold has soared back up toward its $1200 per ounce perch from late 2009 while the price of a barrel of crude Oil falls. Much of this turbulence is due to the plunging Euro versus the USA $. Note: Contra-parallels measure the distance north and south of the Celestial Equator. Planets aligning via this aspect may contain a lot of tension. Faisal Shahzad -- Arrested & Apparently the Times Square Would-Be Bomber -- was Found due to Leaving the Key to his Home in the SUV: As mentioned in today's (May 4, 2010) NY TImes online article (by William Rashbaum and Al Baker), "the keys found in the ignition of the sport utility vehicle that was left to explode in Times Square on Saturday evening did more than start cars: one opened the front door in Faisal Shahzad's home." Perhaps never before in news reporting has Astrology in Action been more precise as the transiting Sun (illumination) this past weekend was making its annual passage over Faisal Shahzad's natal Chiron (keys opening doors to higher consciousness) while transiting Mars (violence) was exactly square his natal Chiron. The fact is that Chiron's symbol in astrology -- the K with a small ellipse attached to the bottom of it -- is a "Key" and looks like a Key, particularly when you turn the symbol sideways. The birth date and year of the would-be bomber was accidentally posted today by the NY Times which showed his passport on the front page of its website. The Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) Creates a Big Chill on Wall Street by Filing a Civil Lawsuit Against Goldman Sachs: While the story (which broke this morning -- Friday April 16) sounds very confusing -- as it involves the sub-prime mortgage and CDO fraudulent schemes that almost destroyed our banking system in the fall of 2008 -- the timing was extraordinary from the standpoint of Astrology in Action because this is the one day of the year when the transiting Sun at 26+ degrees of Aries crosses the natal Saturn placement in the birthchart of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE, founded May 17, 1792). The Senate Version of the Health Care Bill Signed into Law by President Obama: This happened approximately at 11:51+AM EDT in Washington, D.C. -- today March 23, 2010. The struggle is clearly revealed by a whopping Grand Cross in Cardinal Signs striking the Horizon -- as the Moon, in its own sign of Cancer, rises (exactly on the USA natal Jupiter!), opposite a combination of Ceres-Pluto setting, and square Saturn below and the Sun above. This Grand Cross (or crucifixion) is a forerunner of this summer's emotional-psychic fireworks -- across the nation and around the world -- as Jupiter joins Uranus in early Aries while Mars joins Saturn in early Libra (these four, key celestial bodies in a fierce tug of war) while underworld ruler, extremist Pluto in Capricorn acts as supposed mediator by forming a highly tense T-Square type triangle in the heavens. 7.0 Earthquake Strikes Near Haiti's Capital with the Potential for Enormous Loss of Life: This is being posted the evening of this disaster (Tuesday Jan. 12) -- which occurred close to 5PM EST. I am including the chart for the Independence of Haiti from Jan. 1, 1804 in the morning. Note Mars at 3+ Capricorn and Saturn at 3+ Libra in an exact square for the birth of this beleaguered Caribbean nation. It is currently undergoing (a) a Saturn Return that is nearly precise, and (b) transiting Pluto on top of its natal Mars for the first time in its history. The quake happens in synchronicity with tomorrow's precise Saturn station and while Saturn was close to below the Earth at the time of the quake. The triple conjunction of Jupiter-Neptune-Chiron happening in Aquarius is located in the always intense and often foreboding 8th House at the time of the quake. The last Full Moon -- also a Partial Lunar Eclipse -- on Dec. 31, 2009 happened virtually on top of Haiti's Sun (showing severe strains and tug-of-war impulses from the cosmos) while the next New Moon (25+ Capricorn and an Annular Solar Eclipse, clocking in at 2:12AM EST on Friday Jan. 15) reveals the largest planet Jupiter under the Earth in Haiti and the traditional sign of death and destruction (Scorpio) rising. Adding to the enormous chaos that this earthquake is already producing in and around Port-au-Prince (home to over 2 million people) is that transiting Neptune, now at 25 Aquarius, is precisely square its natal placement at 25 Scorpio at the birth of Haiti. Ted Kennedy passed away late Tuesday evening Aug. 25, 2009 with Mercury square to Mars in the sky (two planets that were conjunct at his birth) and while Venus and Vesta united in the sky with the fate-and-destiny oriented Lunar Nodal Axis -- exactly aligned with his natal Saturn. Ted Kennedy Diagnosed with Brain Tumor: Announced today -- May 20, 2008 -- the 76-year-old senator (who has been in the Senate for 46 years) was born on February 22, 1932 (the 200th anniversary of the birth of George Washington). Regardless of all the trials, tribulations, successes and scandals afflicting the Kennedy family, it has always been remarkable to see Ted Kennedy cope with the assassinations of his two older brothers and the Saturn-Return induced death of his eldest brother on a secret bombing mission over Nazi Germany during World War II. US Airways Flight 1549 "Saved" by Part of Fortune with Venus? Concerning the chart for the takeoff of Flight 1549 yesterday (Jan. 15, 2009 at 3:26PM EST) from La Guardia Airport in Flushing, NY. Cancer is Rising (water sign) with Pisces at the top of the chart (water again). This flight glided to a safe landing on the Hudson River. The Part of Fortune is a synthesis of the Sun, Moon and Rising Degree. It is a holdover from Arabic astrology from nearly 1000 years ago. It is actually a very significant marker in any birthchart. During the 3 - 4 minute flight, the Part of Fortune was exactly unified with Venus in Pisces (traditional planet of victory and exalted in this sign of "savior-ship"). This Venus-Part of Fortune union was also located in the ninth house of long-distance journeys. A massive Federal Bailout of Citigroup is being arranged (according to announcements tonight -- Nov. 23). If this is true, then we all need to begin accepting the greater truth of what's really going on behind the scenes -- our U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve are working to cover up the tens and hundreds of TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS of fraudulently created, mortgage-backed securities that no one can figure out how to value. These giant bailouts to the major banking establishments are more like hush money and blackmail in order to prevent the deeper truth from being revealed to the American people and the world about the bankruptcy and insolvency of the U.S. banking system and the bedrock of our financial system. If these so-called Financial Weapons of Mass Destruction -- the puzzling array of mortgage-backed securities, credit default swaps, SIVs, CDOs, derivatives, debts and losses -- can never be adequately valued, then banks will continue to hoard the bailout billions (as well as gold -- something already happening on greater levels in recent months now) and never return to true lending practices and behaving in a lawful manner. And the increasing FDIC insurance support for checking and savings accounts becomes more like a con job into lulling us into a false sense of confidence that the U.S. dollar is totally secure -- whereas the trillions of dollars being printed will eventually produce a hyper-inflationary spiral of epic proportions down the road.
With the recent reluctance of Henry Paulson (U.S. Treasury Secretary) to support the use of $25 billion in bailout funds to support the top three U.S. auto companies in their hour of need, it is also clear that partisan politics is coming into the picture. It's okay to bailout the criminals in the banking industry -- under whose supposed watch the fraudulent mortgage-backed-securities schemes were perpetrated -- but when it comes to saving millions of jobs of blue-collar workers around the nation, then suddenly America doesn't have the money to save them. [Note: The CEOs of the three major U.S. auto companies may also be scoundrels, but certainly they are not nearly as criminal as the chief executives of the major banks who are hiding the truth about the immeasurable and fraudulently created debts that are now sinking the American and global financial network.]
The only solution to this sordid mess is a world-wide restructuring of the banking and economic system in 2009-2010 when Neptune returns three times to its discovery placement in Aquarius. My many articles INSIDE the website discuss these ideas. See other material below...
Late-breaking reports today (Friday Nov. 21) indicate that the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (Timothy Geithner) appears to be headed for the position of U.S. Treasury Secretary. Since financial markets hate confusion and chaos, this apparent nomination is rallying the DJIA during the last hour of trading today. According to one website, Timothy Geithner is born on August 18, 1961 (the same month and year as President-elect Barack Obama). He is born with a Sun-Uranus union in late Leo. Earlier today, the price of Gold soared back toward $800 an ounce following a strong Venus alignment in the chart for Gold Trading. G-7 finance ministers meeting at the U.S. Treasury on Oct. 10 tentatively agree to have their nations directly infuse good banks with cash -- another step toward nationalization of the banking systems in these 7 key nations. This follows the UK's lead from 48 hours ago. However, so much more needs to happen to make banks trust each other again and provide loans to strapped businesses. Today's "decisions" -- while helpful -- may not be sufficient to neutralize the financial panic-crash and solve the problem. Monday Oct. 6 brings potent and possibly abrasive Sun-Jupiter and Mercury-Jupiter squares into effect in the sky during an Inferior Conjunction of the Sun with Mercury Retrograde. Other celestial alignments will probably conspire to make the first day of the workweek a turbulent financial roller coaster ride.
