Penn State Scandal Shows Up Clearly on Current Full Moon Chart & is Totally Related to Transiting Pluto Making its First-Ever Opposition to the USA Jupiter: As the sexuality scandal involving former Penn State Assistant Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator Jerry Sandusky peaked tonight (Nov. 9, 2011) in State College, PA, the Penn State Board of Trustees fired the university's President -- Graham Spanier -- as well as their Head Football Coach for the last 45 years -- Joe Paterno. In the chart below -- which you can see when you click on the weblink -- Pluto is exactly overhead (the key power angle of any horoscope) at tomorrow's Full Moon in State College, PA. Pluto more than any other planet relates to scandals, and certainly ones associated with the horrendous nature of sexual abuse by elders against children. Steve Jobs Dies -- Today -- Oct. 5, 2011: While the time of day and the place are still not available, I have decided to create a chart for 1PM in Cupertino, California for now. This will probably be changed by several hours if and when the time of death is released. You can click on the weblink below to see this approximate chart for his passing -- as well as read what I wrote when he stepped down as Apple CEO in August. It is important to note that the Moon today was right on his natal Chiron while transiting Chiron -- this year -- was going back and forth on his Pisces Sun. Think "Wounded Healer, Maverick, Catalyst, Mentor, Guru, Shapeshifter, Bridge-Builder between Spiritual and Personality Realms, and Holder of the Key to Higher Consciousness" and you will pretty much get the picture. The Moon was also moving from a conjunction with Pallas to a conjunction with Vesta in the sky -- both asteroids (Pallas being mental brilliance, problem-solver and strategist, and Vesta being how we invest time, effort, energy and money in creating our sense of security) are very emblematic of his effect on our sensitivity as human souls. No matter what the official time was on the clock at his passing, the news reached most media sources on the West Coast during the 4PM hour when Aquarius was rising in California (Jobs' natal Mercury placement) and while the Sun and 4 celestial bodies occupied the 8th house of death-rebirth, in-depth transformation and collective metamorphosis. Steve Jobs Steps Down as Apple CEO: The greatest hi-tech leading figure of our time -- having suffered with pancreatic cancer and other ailments for many years -- stepped down on Aug. 24 as CEO of Apple. Amanda Knox Murder Conviction Overturned & Bizarre Twist of Fate and Destiny: A Solar type chart (Sun Rising) is presented below this paragraph -- where you can click on a weblink to see her color horoscope. She was born with a grand triangle in water signs in which Juno was stationary in Pisces. At today's verdict in Perugia, Italy, the Moon in Capricorn was exactly passing over her natal Neptune while transiting Neptune was overhead. Neptune is often touted as a planet of miracles. When positive, it is certainly a planet of compassion, empathy and tears (of sadness and joy). Bizarre Twist of Fate & Destiny: Amanda Knox was born (July 9, 1987) exactly 40 years -- to the day -- after O.J. Simpson. Her murder conviction was overturned exactly 16 years -- to the day -- after O.J. Simpson was declared not-guilty of killing his wife and Ronald Goldman. Since Venus has a special, 8-year cycle -- wherein it returns to where it was in the zodiac 8 years before -- Amanda Knox and O.J. Supernova Brightening in Pinwheel Galaxy North of Handle in the Big Dipper: A Supernova -- discovered at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory on Aug. 24 -- is brightening considerably over the next 48 hours (Sept. 8 - 9). Shortly after sunset and as twilight beckons, if the skies are clear where you are living, with a good pair of binoculars you may be able to see this exploding star that is 21 million light-years away (just showing us its massive destruction that occurred 21 million years ago). You will want to look for the handle of the Big Dipper, create an equilateral triangle directed north, and you should find the star in that sky area. It is definitely influencing the sign Virgo and probably in the area around 16 degrees of Virgo, where the star Alcor is located in the Big Dipper (Ursa Major).
Amateur astronomers around the globe are watching this rare occurrence every night as it builds in brightness and intensity. The Supernova of 1572 was so bright, it could be seen during the daytime, and outshone the brightest star Sirius as well as Jupiter. If you are a Sun-sign Virgo or have this sign prominent at your birth -- and feel you are going through a stronger-than-usual challenge right now -- chalk it up to this detonation of a long-extinguished Sun that we are only now witnessing in our neck of the woods in the universe. When you view it, you might not realize the enormity of what is going on with the planetary placements. Here is an astro- sampler of why this is such a scary and shocking weather event: (a) America completes its 8th Saturn Return at 4:59AM EDT Sunday Aug. 28 -- meaning that our most recent, 29+ year "Identity Crisis" as a nation ends and we start up a new, 29+ year Saturn cycle in Libra; (b) Vesta -- ruling safety and security (personally and collectively) as well as home, hearth, insurance rates/coverage and investments -- is exactly overhead in the NYC zone; (c) Neptune -- main, overall ruler of any hurricane -- is precisely squaring the Rising and Setting degrees in NYC, and Neptune is also elevated, directing the spectacle via television and the multi-media; (d) Mars at 16+ Cancer around 3rd house cusp is less than 1 degree from the Pluto discovery placement from Feb. 18, 1930; (e) Uranus -- seemingly complacent in the 11th house position -- is actually within 1 minute of arc (1/60 of 1 degree of the zodiac) of the potentially confusing-chaotic Saturn/Neptune midpoint in America's birthchart from July 4, 1776, and Uranus was precisely at this same position on May 22, 2011 during the devastating tornado that destroyed much of Joplin, Missouri; (f) the New Moon degree and minute of arc is 5 Virgo 27 -- which is exactly 45-degrees (to within 1 minute of arc) of America's Juno placement at 20 Libra 28. DJIA Drops Another 635 Points as Gold Soars $68 to $1714. Here are my Twitters -- Concise and to the Point for Aug. 8: Dawn spacecraft orbiting Vesta; Pluto opposite the USA Venus (2008-2010) and now USA Jupiter (2011) are big players in $-crisis. Massive 9.0 Earthquake Strikes Off Northeast Coast of Japan: Dateline Friday March 11, 2011 -- Quake and following Tsunamis are in the process of causing major calamities in Northern Japan right now -- along with Tsunami Warnings for much of the Pacific, including the coast of California & Oregon. While the chart for the event -- based near Sendai, Japan -- is provided (click on weblink below), you will see that I have added two codes for far-distant planets Sedna in Taurus and Eris in Aries, both overhead in the part of the world at the Earthquake. In addition, this quake may be a harbinger of the March 28, 2011 final one of three Jupiter-Saturn oppositions affecting Planet Earth. Plus -- Mercury-Uranus parallel and contra-parallel formations, as well as Sun-Saturn and Sun-Jupiter parallels & contra-parallels are all happening around now and the end of March and beginning of April. These types of alignments are calculated via the Celestial Equator great circle around the Earth and not via the Ecliptic circle by which we analyze the 12-fold zodiacal pathway. Your Sun-sign and Sign Placements of the Celestial Bodies in your Natal Chart Have Not Changed!
Apparently -- a few days ago -- an astronomer from a Minnesota group tried to make it seem as if we professional astrologers doing our work in the Western Hemisphere are completely confused because the constellations have moved, and dates are different, etc.
The problem here is that astronomer's ignorance of the two different kinds of zodiacs used -- one Sidereal or Constellational (primarily used in India) and our Tropical one (primarily used in America and Europe) -- based on equally dividing the year (starting at the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere) into 12 components of 30-degrees of space.
Our zodiac is really the Earth's electro-magnetic field and I can assure anyone who has had a chart done by a reliable professional astrologer using our Tropical Zodiac -- using accurate birth data (month-day-year of birth; time of birth; city and state of birth) -- that the Sun-sign you have always had is still your Sun-sign, and all the familiar celestial bodies -- in whatever signs they have been placed within your chart wheel -- have not changed.
The astronomer in question is mixing up star groups and constellations -- which may not all be equal to 30-degrees of space -- with how we equally divide our scientifically accurate zodiac in the West.
Every so often, an ignorant astronomer -- who has never made a clear, focused, and in-depth study of astrology -- tries to toss this kind of ridiculous, bogus, monkey-wrench into the astrological realm -- because most astronomers believe astrology is a pseudo-science, which it is not.
It is a shame that so many equally ignorant news media -- particularly FOX News, in this case -- ran with this story, embellished it in a silly manner, and that the story was then taken up by other media sources.
Now professional astrologers have to speak up once again and reveal that it is actually the ignorance of modern astronomers that keeps causing them to not understand how scientific and remarkable modern astrology actually is.

Venus Shifts from Evening Star to Morning Star Formation -- Relative to the Sun -- at 6:11PM PDT Tonight (Thursday Oct. 28). This primarily bullish tendency for the DJIA and where investors are more anxious to come back into financial markets (instead of remaining on the sidelines) lasts for 9+ months -- all the way until Aug. 16, 2011, when Venus will begin another bearish, 9+ month cycle as an Evening Star. Updated Story on a New Gold Standard (Nov. 10, 2010) -- For Subscribers Only, but read the information below first...
Will Gold -- as well as the DJIA -- keep rising as we near the 23rd Anniversary of the 1987 Stock Market Crash on Oct. 19? Gold hit another high -- $1311 an ounce -- under a Jupiter-Ceres square on Tuesday Sept. 28. [Gold then went about $10 higher a couple of days later and -- as of Oct. 5 -- it is in the $1340 range.] Ceres is connected with commodities while Jupiter always represents anything big and expansive (since it is the largest planet in the solar system). The square actually acts as a bullish signal -- in this situation. See more below, but Gold was also surging to new highs on Sept. 14 primarily as Ceres closed in on a rare union with Pluto that almost occurred in the spring, but never happened and will finally occur on the 23rd Anniversary of the 1987 Wall Street Crash (Oct. 19, 2010). The Moon is currently in Sagittarius (Sept. 14) and approaching monthly unions with Ceres and Pluto (that happen officially tomorrow, but are building up in intensity now). Key Idea: Ceres is often overlooked as a major indicator of commodities -- definitely associated with grains and cereals, but also having much to do with metals (like gold and silver). Pluto always stands for extreme swings in prices.

A chart calculated for Concepcion, Chile -- the nation's second largest city of about 200,000+ people -- is offered further down, revealing Saturn almost exactly overhead and the fateful orbit of the Moon (North and South Nodes) exactly rising and setting. At the Haitian quake last month, Saturn was below.
